If your the type of person who likes to keep a backup on hand, or if
you find that your diamond tip is worn or damaged, this replacement tip for our CNC Diamond Drag Engraving Bit will keep you up and running.
We offer 2 different types of replacement tips for our CNC Diamond Drag Engraving Bits. This 90 Degree Replacement Tip is recommended for engraving coated materials, such as lacquered brass or anodized aluminum name tags. The 90 degree tip is also recommended for engraving fine details, such as tiny lettering, and thin materials ( < 0.020" thick.) For general purpose engraving on uncoated metal, plastic, granite, or glass, we recommend using our 120 Degree Replacement Tip, which is available in our Replacement Blades, Tips, Pens, etc. section.
The industrial diamond tips used with our engraving bits are
manufactured to last a long time before they wear out. Individual
results will vary based on your engraving pressure and the hardness of
the material you engrave (brass and aluminum are much less abrasive
than glass or granite.)
